Many members tell us how valuable it is to connect with others who truly understand what life is like with a urostomy. However, with local meetings becoming less common, these opportunities can be harder to find.
Thanks to the generous support of Coloplast, we were delighted to launch a new series of online support group meetings. The first took place on 27 October 2025.
After a warm welcome from Brian Fretwell, Chair of the Urostomy Association, Karen Tomlin outlined Coloplast’s approach to customer care. She was followed by Paul Russell-Roberts, who gave a presentation entitled “Mindful Searching: Staying Informed in an AI World.”
Participants then had around 40 minutes to join small group discussions – a chance to connect, share experiences and tips, and seek advice from others who truly understand.
