Donna Watson is a former nurse and midwife and had her urostomy surgery following an accident. She has been our Urostomy Association volunteer in Northern Ireland since 2014, and has built-up a support group in her region which provides advice, guidance, and social interaction for a growing number of urostomates.
As a volunteer, Donna meets with and provides peer support prior to and after surgery, and she also assists in providing training for security staff at Northern Ireland’s busiest airport.
