Payroll giving is a straightforward, tax-effective way you can donate regularly to help ensure that no one facing surgery for a urinary diversion, or recovering after their operation, feels isolated or overwhelmed.
Your gift is taken directly from your pay before tax, meaning you can give more for less - a £10 donation to the Urostomy Association will only cost you £8 if you’re a 20% taxpayer.
Regular donations allow us to grow our services so we can be there for people however and whenever they need us.
Your kindness counts
It means we can run our helpline and keep people informed and supported through our regular magazine, e-newsletters, group meetings, social media and fact sheets. You can also help grow the services people receive, including ‘meet the expert’ webinars, online support groups, video stories and so much more.
See how little it will cost you each month to make a real difference…
- A £5 donation to us only costs you: £4.00 (20% taxpayer), £3.00 (40% taxpayer), or £2.75 (45% taxpayer)
- A £10 donation to us only costs you: £8.00 (20% taxpayer), £6.00 (40% taxpayer), or £5.50 (45% taxpayer)
- A £15 donation to us only costs you: £12.00 (20% taxpayer), £9.00 (40% taxpayer), or £8.25 (45% taxpayer)
- A £20 donation to us only costs you: £16.00 (20% taxpayer), £12.00 (40% taxpayer), or £11.00 (45% taxpayer)
To get started
To get started, speak to your employer to find out whether they already run a payroll giving scheme and how to sign up. You will be in control of choosing your charity and how much you want to regularly give, and aside from filling out a registration form, that should be all you need to do!
Your regular gift will then be automatically deducted from your salary (before tax and after national insurance) and distributed to the Urostomy Association.
If your employer doesn’t yet have a payroll giving scheme set up, they can register with an approved payroll giving agency via the HMRC website.
Thank you so much. Your support matters and makes and difference.
