Reading our members’ stories really helps reassure people who need a urostomy that with the right support, they can gradually resume life as normal after surgery and continue doing the things they enjoy. Just like our volunteer Donna, who over time was able to get back to the horse-riding she is so passionate about as well as travelling abroad, they find they can live life with confidence and be as active as they choose to be.
