You heard it here first: the Urostomy Association is creating a beautiful book for children under 7, recognising that helping them understand the adult world, particularly health issues and challenges, can feel difficult. Even better, the book will help us raise much-needed funds to support the services we provide for everyone who need us.
Following our call for professional illustrators to pitch for the contract to work on the book, we are delighted to announce that Lynda Nelson will be creating the artwork for us. Lynda is a talented freelance illustrator, designer and mural artist with experience of working on children’s books. We’re really looking forward to collaborating with her on this unique project, which you can find out more about in our forthcoming winter Journal and here on news section soon, too.
