The Baguette Group has attendees from all over the Island, covering all 3 ostomies – Colostomy, Ileostomy and Urostomy. Some choose to attend on their own, others like to bring their home support team (husbands, wives, offspring, or friends), the choice is yours.
Whatever your situation, we all have a unique shared experience which allows us to support each other, with conversation, friendship and ‘bag commonality’.
The Group meets every month on the 3rd Thursday from 10-12 in Shorwell Parish Hall, Russell Road, Shorwell, PO30 3JT.
There’s lots of free parking, disabled access, and plenty of toilet facilities. We provide unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits, plus a raffle with one prize – 50% of the raffle takings. The remainder of the raffle goes into ‘the pot’ to pay for expenses.
