Bag a place in our children’s book!

How would you like to feature in our unique book for children and help support the vital services we provide for everyone who needs us?

Talking to children about the adult world can feel difficult, especially when it comes to health issues. That’s why we’re creating ‘Bags, Bags, Bags’, our beautiful book for children under 7, explaining what a urostomy is – and what it means to live with one – in a way young minds understand.

We have commissioned Lynda Nelson, an experienced children’s illustrator, to create original pictures for the book, making our newest resource a fun story both adults and children will want to read, re-read and share together. Full of fun and bursting with colour, ‘Bags, Bags, Bags’ will help conversations happen in a very natural way, whether with your child, grandchild or another little person in your circle.

When you make a donation of £25 to our campaign, we will include your image, or the image of your friend/family member in the book*. What could make a more unique Christmas gift?

Everyone who donates, whatever the amount, will be featured on our ‘With thanks’ page* in the book.

All gifts towards the publication of this much-needed resource will make a real difference to those families who need the Association’s support.

As with all our resources, ‘Bags, Bags, Bags’ will be available – free of charge – from our website, and you can choose to download it as an e-book or order a printed copy.

Please make your donation via our Just Giving page (click the button below) or by calling our office on 01386 430140.

*Please note that when you make your donation, we will need your consent for us to contact you to collect your image and include it in the book along with your name.
