Organise a raffle

First prize was a beautiful hand-made quilt donated by Essex member Dora Roberts and her Blackwater Quilters.

The raffle raised £6,921 for UA funds

Organise an event & sell tickets

  • Ask the local boutique to put on a fashion show – raise money from the sale of tickets and from a percentage of the sales.

Pam-Flint_1Charity Fashion Show

On 7 October 2010 a fashion show, opened by Amanda Redman, was organised at the Harleyford Golf Club, Marlow. This was another initiative by Pam Flint, whose friend Barbara Easton, owns a number of boutique shops in and around Marlow. All the stops were pulled out to present a full-blown cat-walk show, which raised over £6,000 for the Urostomy Association.

UA Celebrity Golf Day

Since 2007 the annual Celebrity Golf Day has been the single most successful annual fund-raising event in the Urostomy Association calendar, hosted for many years by Dennis Waterman and his UA member wife Pam. To date over £100,000 has been raised.

In 2010 Ian Sainsbury combined his passion for the triathlon with raising for money for the Urostomy Association.
