Celebrate our Golden Jubilee

Celebrating 50 years of the Urostomy Association – 1971 to 2021

50 Pier Challenge
Trustee, Sharon Fillingham and friends (the Pier Trotters) will be visiting 50 piers around the UK during the year.

Extreme Abseiling
Trustee, Dave Simonds, will be undertaking an abseil in June 2021

Herriot Way walk
Chairman of Trustees, Brian Fretwell and family will be walking the Herriot Way in summer 2021

Cycle Challenge
National President, Prof. Derek Rosario (a busy consultant urologist), will be undertaking a cycling challenge, starting in Manchester (where the Association was born); visiting our National Office and all of our Branches during summer 2021.

Afternoon teas
We hope to hold 25 afternoon tea events around the country during 2021. There will be at least one at each of our Branches, along with others in areas of the UK where we do not currently have a local Branch.
